E-Authentication Device (E-Certification Device)
The device, which can read the new Turkish Republic E-ID cards and has high security features, performs biometric verification on its own with the TUBITAK GEM (Secure Access Module) it hosts.
It is an ideal device for all kinds of environments with its high reliability, and there are more than 3 models that support different biometric technologies and there are models that can enable mobile use when necessary.
E-BIO Enterprise
E-BioEnterprise, developed by Bioser, is a platform that enables the integrated operation of all identity management, physical, and virtual access solutions through a multi-layered architecture and middleware. Secure communication is ensured through various symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods, while multimodal biometric solutions are also supported, as well as the KEC (Card Access Device) platform, which enables the use of Republic of Turkey e-ID cards.
Virtual Access Management
Integrated Single Sign-On (SSO) Solution with Card Access Device
Card Access Devices (CADs) are systems used in institutions and organizations that allow citizens to authenticate themselves using their electronic ID cards (e-IDs) during transactions. Since CADs are used for real-time personal authentication, the connected devices can also serve as single sign-on (SSO) access points.
Single Sign-On enables authorized individuals to securely log in to designated devices using a single authentication process.
Our R&D team has developed an innovative solution that allows personnel in institutions and organizations to perform Single Sign-On (SSO) logins on computers or mobile devices connected to Card Access Devices (CADs).
The SSO-compatible Card Access Device we developed integrates the single sign-on and application access system (SSO) with the card access hardware (CAD), offering a nationwide solution ready for use by all citizens. The system leverages biometric authentication features embedded in the Turkish Republic ID card for secure access.
Through this integration, our solution ensures data security using advanced biometric technologies, providing protection against both personal and institutional data loss.
This requirement has been elevated to the highest level by integrating the single sign-on and application access system (SSO) with the card access device (CAD).
This project represents the first implementation in Turkey that enables system access via biometric ID cards. Beyond the security layers of the ID cards themselves, the system employs advanced encryption methods to ensure secure data communication.
Biometric Identity and E-signature
Today, many institutions and organizations are carrying out many projects to transition to the digital world and get rid of the costs of physical paper operations (recognition, processing, storage, etc.).
- As a common result of the projects carried out, the lack of widespread use of electronic signatures and the late start of distribution of new e-identities have slowed down the transition to the digital world.
- The new Turkish ID Cards include fields for identity information, biometric data, health information, card status information, and an electronic signature. An electronic signature is not included in the electronic signature field, but can be uploaded upon request.
Card Access Devices (CEDs) allow for remote electronic signature uploading. According to Electronic Signature Law No. 5070 of 2004, electronic signatures are officially valid in all institutions.
- The ability to upload electronic signatures to E-IDs via KEC devices will accelerate the transition of all institutions to the digital (paperless) world.
- You can verify your identity with a KEC device and e-IDs, upload an electronic signature to an individual's K-ID card, and have all corporate documents signed electronically using the uploaded e-signature. This allows you to transition your organization to the digital world or transition to a paperless office environment.
- Our E-Bio KEC product family can be integrated with the electronic signature company you work with and allows remote electronic signature certificate uploading.
E-BIO SSO
(Login Application)
Today, many institutions and organizations' personnel use passwords for all kinds of transactions and access permissions.
These passwords force users to create increasingly complex passwords, such as uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols, and length control.
On average, a person actively uses passwords for 20 different purposes. They often try to overcome this challenge by making all passwords the same. Research has shown that 60% of calls to the IT support desk are related to password updates.
Data protection, user authentication, and password management are critical issues for both individuals and organizations. Kris Brittain, research director at Gartner Group, stated, "Password updating has reached a point where companies need to allocate a substantial support budget." According to Gartner, an employee forgets their password an average of four times a year, and each call to the help desk for a password update costs between $14 and $25. Furthermore, managing user identity and authentication information becomes complex.
