Biometric Technologies
Many different technologies have been and are being developed for biometric identification (1:N) and verification (1:1). No single biometric technology can provide an effective solution for every application. Therefore, different biometric technologies are used for different applications, or multimodal biometric approaches, which combine multiple biometric technologies, are used.
Multi-Layered Architecture
By using multi-layered architecture in both desktop and embedded software development, database-related operations are performed in the targeted order and sequence in object-oriented programming.
Physical and virtual access solutions developed with the e-BioEnterprise middleware platform offer a structure that can be customized to the project and enables rapid and flexible deployment of updates. This allows for the integration of evolving biometric technologies into developed software solutions to be much more effective.
Our R&D Opportunities
Our R&D center, located in Hacettepe Teknokent Ankara, and our expert R&D team in the field of biometric solution development, develops physical and virtual access solutions in the field of recognition (1:N) and verification (1:1) using multiple biometric technologies (multimodal).
In addition to desktop applications, our expert R&D team in mobile applications develops special solutions for project needs in embedded software development, hardware development, industrial design and production.
All our R&D work is managed with a dynamic project management approach, with the concept of usability being paramount and the determination of features being based on achieving benefits.
KEC - Card Access Device
For applications operating electronically, KEC verifies that an ID card has been issued by an authorized institution and that the card truly belongs to the citizen using an electronic signature infrastructure. It also generates a document electronically signed with the Secure Access Module (GEM) provided by KamuSM as proof. Thanks to the GEM, the device communicates securely with the ID card and can read data fields inaccessible to standard card readers, such as the cardholder's personal message and biometric data.

Innovation
Our project approach is driven by innovative solutions that don't rely on any specific biometric technology, operating system, database, or even secure communication architecture. The fact that the projects we develop in this context serve as exemplary solutions that set future standards for the industry is a source of great pride for us.
With the Republic of Turkey's E-ID Project, which is currently in the process of being rolled out, biometric technologies will play a significant role in identity management processes, minimizing losses due to identity theft and fraud. In this context, biometric identity verification in both physical and virtual access applications will be achieved through Card Access Devices (CADs).
Bioser has developed the Card Access Device (CEC) hardware and embedded software, enabling the integration of multimodal biometric technologies within the E-ID cards of the Republic of Turkey.
Bioser offers an innovative biometric watermark and virtual rights management platform with its BioSecure solution, which not only manages biometric identity management but also manages who created important and valuable documents and who has access to these documents, along with multiple biometric verification and even E-ID via Card Access Device (KEC).

Biometric Technologies
Many different technologies have been developed and are being developed for biometric identification (1:N) and verification (1:1).
No single biometric technology can provide an effective solution for every application. Therefore, different biometric technologies are used for different applications, or multimodal biometric approaches that combine multiple biometric technologies are used.
Each biometric technology has a false acceptance rate (FAR) and a false rejection rate (FRR). A low level of both rates is crucial for usability. Environmental factors (thermal environment, humidity, light levels, etc.) also significantly impact the usability of biometric technology.
At BioSer, we offer a multimodal biometrics-supported infrastructure within the E-BioEnterprise middleware platform we developed. This allows us to create flexible and dynamic solutions for diverse application needs.
